French Lessons
Imagine a place where time stood still and held a space ~ for you. In our fifth week together for Painting Brilliant Colors, I’ve saved the best for last. The quiet beauty of Southern France is easy to spot in its ancient stone houses and flower gardens. But the real charm grows much deeper. It exists in the tiny villages, where families all know one another, and neighbors never hurry their greetings when passing on narrow country lanes. There are no grocery store chains, so going to market means putting on your Sunday best and preparing to greet old friends you’ve known for years. There is an appreciation for beauty that shows in every window, doorway and garden in Europe. Painting, visiting, and experiencing this region is a flower lover’s dream come true!

“Give it all your heart: The best love is the kind that awakens the soul and makes us reach for more, that plants a fire in our hearts and brings peace to our minds. And that’s what you’ve given me. That’s what I’d hoped to give you forever.”
~ Nicholas Sparks
