An arched stone doorway glows with golden light beneath a cascade of vivid red and pink blooms, opening onto a lush, sunlit garden path—evoking the romance of Italy in June.

There is a sacred feeling to the old stone gardens of Europe, even if the walls are crumbling and sometimes because of it. At times the most important thing to do when you stumble upon one of these ancient gardens is simply to stop and consider them, without a pen or brush in hand.

I’m super excited to announce that my Italy workshop is filling up flower friends – don’t delay, I want to share ancient markets, gourmet food, and this dream painting vacation with you in June! We’ll provide the paint, and you bring your camera, walking shoes, and inner child!

Wine tastings under the stars!
