Pink Angel White Lilies and a Colorful Escape to Italy

Hot pinks and whimsical orange patchwork warmed the studio on a chilly winter night, as fresh lilies took center stage under the lights. With 2015 ending, excitement builds for a June 2016 painting workshop in Italy—complete with markets, wine, and seaside inspiration.

The chilly winter air called for hot pinks in the studio tonight. I used bright orange patchwork to add a bit of whimsy to the fresh lilies under the spotlights. The flower models once again held up bravely, with no fidgeting or yawning!

2015 is winding down, and I’m super excited to announce my new workshop in Italy this June 2016! We’ll indulge in open-air markets, wine tastings, a day trip to the Adriatic Sea, and—oh yes—painting!
