There was still just a bit of snow on the ground when I found these sunflowers in the market in Flower Mound, some of the most lavish sunflowers I’ve ever seen in a Texas flower store. It seemed to me to be a sign that we are on the brink of spring!

Hmmm, says the sunflower.
